Ultrasound or Radiofrequency Lifting in Korea? A Traveler’s Guide
Ultherapy PRIME and Thermage FLX use different energy. Compare the treatment plan, risks and recovery window before comparing prices.
Ultherapy PRIME uses focused ultrasound and real-time imaging to target tissue beneath the skin surface. Thermage FLX uses radiofrequency energy delivered through a handpiece with cooling. Both are non-surgical options, but a device name alone cannot tell you which plan suits your face.
Ask the physician which area and concern they are treating, why that device is appropriate, who performs the procedure, and what treatment count and total price include. A consultation should cover your history, expected benefit, possible adverse effects and alternatives.
Allow for the actual recovery window
Redness or swelling may be temporary, but bruising and swelling can last longer in some people; rarer device-specific adverse effects exist. Do not schedule the treatment on the assumption that there will be no visible reaction before a flight, photo session or event.
Results may develop gradually over months and vary by person and device. Tell the physician about electrical implants before considering radiofrequency, and discuss recent fillers, prior energy treatments and any concern about facial volume before committing to a combined plan.
