Downtime, sorted by how much it shows
A quick table for anyone scheduling around a flight or a photograph.
Clinics quote downtime in days. What people actually want to know is whether it is visible, and for how long.
| Treatment | Visible for | Flying |
|---|---|---|
| HIFU lifting | Redness, a few hours | Fine after 24h |
| RF tightening | Redness and warmth, a few hours | Fine after 24h |
| Botox | Usually nothing; possible small bruises | Fine after 24h |
| HA filler | Swelling and bruising, 2–5 days | Fine after 24h |
| Skin boosters (PN/PDLLA) | Raised bumps, 1–3 days | Fine after 24h |
| Collagen stimulators (PLLA) | Swelling and bruising, 3–7 days | Fine after 24h |
| Pico laser | Micro-crusting, 3–7 days | Fine after 24h |
Two rules that hold across all of them. Book in the first two days of a trip, so anything visible settles while you are still in the country. And do not stack treatments on one day — the swelling compounds and nobody can tell which reaction came from what.
