Seoul Welcome Week 2026: What to Find in Myeongdong

Seoul Welcome Week runs from September 19 to October 11, 2026. Its Myeongdong Welcome Center is scheduled for October 1–8 near Myeongdong Station Exit 6, with tourist information and interpretation in English, Chinese and Japanese.
The city also lists K-pop performances, a lucky draw and participatory art at the Myeongdong center. Individual program times can vary, so check the official city notice or the information desk when you arrive.
A practical stop between plans
If you are shopping or have an appointment near Myeongdong, use the center to ask about current events and directions. The wider welcome program covers other tourism information points and Seoul Culture Lounge activities; those have separate dates and conditions.
The Myeongdong center is scheduled to end October 8, three days before the wider Welcome Week ends. Do not use the citywide October 11 end date as the deadline for a Myeongdong visit.
