A Beauty Address With an Architectural Story
At Sulwhasoo Bukchon, two houses make room for a slower kind of discovery.

The House of Sulwhasoo Bukchon brings together a hanok from the 1930s and a Western-style house from the 1960s. An open courtyard connects them, giving the flagship a rhythm quite different from a conventional beauty counter.
According to Sulwhasoo’s architectural account, original pillars and rafters were preserved alongside elements of the later house. Galleries, craft displays, boutiques and a garden allow the visit to move between products and the spaces surrounding them.

Build a little breathing room into the visit
Treat the architecture as part of the destination. Leave time to notice the relationship between timber, courtyard and contemporary displays, rather than planning only a quick purchase.
The official address is 47 Bukchon-ro, Jongno-gu, near Anguk station. The brand lists Monday closures and no on-site parking. Check its official visitor page for current hours and holiday changes before travelling.
